After the release of the highly anticipated Nike Kyrie 5, we got hit with a dope PE straight out the gate with the ‘Taco’ PE, which was made in collaboration with rapper Taco. The newest PE that the man himself has recently busted out is now being considered the best PE of the 5 so far. The engineered mesh upper is white with the swoosh being a mint green with black speckles. The Flywire cables and lining of the shoe are the same mint green and to wrap up the upper, the heel cup and Venus flytrap inspired strap feature that third eye inspired imagery with a different twist than the general release colorway. The midsole is white with black speckles and the front portion is a black that fades into a slightly darker green. Yup, I’m sold on these being the cleanest Kyrie 5 colorway I’ve seen so far.
Moving on, we have what some are calling the Australia PE, which uses a simple green and yellow color scheme (Seattle Super Sonics anyone?) The lateral side of the upper is yellow with a green swoosh, while the medial side is green with a yellow swoosh, giving this colorway a dope dual tone look. The midsole and outsole are the same yellow used alongside the upper.
Finally, a new Kyrie 5 colorway has leaked, which we speculate to be a general release (Finally, a colorway we can get our hands on other than the Black Magic). The engineered mesh upper is black, but wait there’s more, we also get a red heel cup, and Kyrie’s logo and signature on the tongue are also red. It gets better though, the midsole is white with red and black speckles and to top it off there’s red on the front of the midsole.
