NBA All Star Weekend is once again underway, slated for this Sunday, February 17th, 2019. NBA players will once again share their personal stories and memories during the All Star festivities this weekend, as displayed through exclusive colorways of their special edition All Star sneakers.
adidas Hoops is one of few brands such as Nike Basketball, Anta, and Li-Ning to have their signature-endorsed athletes on the hardwood for All Star Weekend. They are also one of the only brands that have yet to debut what their signature athletes will wear when they take the floor on Sunday.
Nonethless, as per usual, we do have an exclusive First Look at the 2019 adidas All Star Collection. To commemorate the festivities of this exciting weekend, adidas Hoops has created three exclusive player edition colorways of the Harden Vol. 3, Dame 5, and Marquee Boost Low, for All Stars, James Harden, Damian Lillard, and Kyle Lowry. All three adidas Hoops signature athletes will bring raceway inspired colorways featuring checkered flags, which is a special nod to Charlotte’s history of auto racing. Each colorway sports the same aesthetic, coming equipped with a black/white checkered upper, yellow, red, and blue three stripe branding, a partially black/white midsole, and semi-translucent marbled gray sole.
While some of our favorite athletes endorsed with adidas Hoops will be rocking these special colorways on the court, paying homage to the vivid racing history of Charlotte, they will not release to the public. All three colorways will strictly be player edition exclusives, meaning they will not release to the public. Despite the fact, we very well may see additional colorways of the adidas Harden Vol. 3, Dame 5, and Marquee Boost Low releasing during All Star Weekend, as these colorways are not slated to release. Grab a First Look at the three colorways down below, and be sure to share your thoughts on them in the comment section.
