Release alongside the Trifecta basketball shoe, the adidas Kaizam ditches the strap used on its performance counterpart, and offers wearers a more mobile feel and simpler aesthetic on foot when playing basketball on the hardwood.
The adidas Kaizam utilizes the same tooling as its performance counterpart, the Trifecta, as well as its predecessor model, the Marquee Boost. A full length herringbone rubber sole and full-length Boost midsole that is laterally caged makes up the tooling.
A similar construction used on the Trifecta appears to be used on these shoes. A primary build of textile makes up the underlying material for the upper, while overlays include leathers and suedes placed at the eystay, heel, and mudguard areas. There is also an additional layer of skin fuse for added durability. With the removal of the ankle strap, these should provide for a more simpler aesthetic for those that were interested in trying these out.
Six new colorways of the adidas Kaizam have made their official retail debut at select overseas stockists right now. While we await a confirmed stateside release date, be sure to let us know what you think of the Three Stripes’ newest basketball silhouette below, and be sure to keep it locked here for updates.
