While the NBA season is underway, and we’re in the midst of the Holiday Season, there’s been plenty of new and upcoming leaks and surfaced images of new signature basketball sneakers. While two Oklahoma City Thunder All Stars had their new signature shoes leak a few days prior, we have yet another First Look at three new adidas performance basketball models; the adidas Harden B/E 3, D Rose 1.5 Retro, and the Pro Bounce 2019. New colorways of the adidas Dame 5 have leaked as well.
The overseas crew at Fast Pass have yet another round of spy photos for the internet, and in high-definition. China hosts the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup, so adidas is already prepared months in advance with unseen performance models, in colorways paying homage to the Chinese culture.
The first leak is the adidas D Rose 1.5, but in retro form. We first reported upon the adidas D Rose line retroing after the 10, so we should expect the adidas D Rose 1.5 to retro in the Summer of 2019. In an unseen colorway that pays homage to Chinese culture, the initial retro colorway of the D Rose 1.5 boasts a full black upper with subtle pink and yellow accents sported along the heel paneling and collar area.
James Harden’s third signature sneaker with adidas Hoops has surfaced, dubbed the adidas Harden B/E 3. Bringing in an affordable, budget-friendly option, the Harden B/E 3 looks to sport a totally new silhouette in comparison to its predecessor budget models.Something I really see in this sneaker, is the Nike Air Zoom Flight ‘The Glove’, which was Gary Payton’s signature sneaker. If you don’t know that sneaker, look it up, they’re legendary.
Otherwise, the sneaker comes sported in ‘USA’ and ‘Global’ colorways, while coming equipped with a multi-directional herringbone outsole, full-length Bounce cushioning, and a full synthetic shrouded upper. Otherwise, the sneakers have the usual three stripes branding, and a velcro strap at the ankle collar for added lockdown and security around the foot.
The adidas Pro Bounce was just released in October, prior to the release of the adidas Harden Vol. 3. Fast forward to December, a very early leak of what is speculated to be the Pro Bounce 2019 has surfaced.
This sneaker takes a fully-fledged new silhouette from the Pro Bounce 2018, and looks to sport a very cheap look. Synthetics run along the upper, while a very basic lacing system covers up the tongue, and a funky looking midsole makes up the bottom of the sneakers.
Now we take a look at the adidas Dame 5, a long awaited sneaker to finally release in February. These sneakers leaked all the way back in the Spring, and these colorways down below have to be our best look yet.
The colorways down below look to feature a primeknit upper, that not only aesthetically looks better, but should perform better for those that didn’t like the mesh, and synthetics used on the prior colorways to surface. That takes care of it for all of the models to surface. Will adidas reign in 2019? Did adidas bring their all in 2018? Share your thoughts in the comment section down below and stay tuned as release dates come underway for these new models.
