We first reported on Under Armour’s next budget model for Stephen Curry in March, and now we’re giving you your first look at upcoming colorways of the Chef’s third signature takedown silhouette; the UA SC 3ZER0 III.
Formerly known as the Curry 3ZER0 line, the re-branded SC 3ZER0 line has brought in radical designs and silhouettes, that nobody talks about, simply due to lackluster performance and technology being offered in the shoes.
The UA SC 3ZER0 III incorporates a multi-directional herringbone outsole, featuring tightly spaced grooves, likely to have inconsistent traction on dusty settings. Full length Micro G foam makes its return from its predecessor model, while a synthetic leather upper makes up the upper. A half bootie construction is intact for the build, while a standard lacing enclosure finishes off the shoe.
I am really trying to give UA the benefit of the doubt here to potentially have a good bang for your buck performer, but it’s not 2010 anymore, and synthetic leather, and a basic foam compound just doesn’t get the job done anymore. Quite honestly, you’re probably better off grabbing the discounted Dame 5s, PG 3s, and a plethora of high-performing kicks from Nike/adidas for around the same price as these.
Grab an official look at the UA SC 3ZER0 III below, and expect these to release this October, retailing at $90. Share your thoughts in the comments, and keep it locked here for updates on Curry’s third budget model with Under Armour.
