During the 2018 NBA All Star break, adidas Hoops introduced new models inspired after their classic Feet You Wear technology from 1998, dubbed the BYW (Boost You Wear), and BYW LVL X.
Just a year later, we are giving you your first look at a newly leaked adidas BYW model, which some are speculating to be the second iteration of the BYW LVL X. This newly leaked model of this new BYW model appears to borrow tooling from its predecessor. Heel and forefoot boost is intact, while a decoupled sole separates the heel and forefoot for torsional rigidity. A build of a textile mesh makes up the upper, while paneling of suede covers the mudguard area. The laces appear to be laced through the suede paneling, along with a similar looking tongue to BYW predecessor models.
No word on a release date for this model quite yet, or any confirmation if it will release, or what this model will actually be called. Keep it locked here for updates and be sure to share your thoughts on them in the comments.
