Nonetheless, we all must respect what he does for his community of Oakland from giving back, and must respect he is one of the greatest shooters ever to touch a basketball. The back-to-back MVP and five time All Star seems to be bringing his all throughout the 2018-19 NBA Season, but will his kicks match his game on the court?
Alike the initial release colorway of the UA Curry 6 dubbed the ‘Fox Theatre’ colorway, which pays tribute to the iconic theatre in Oakland, this colorway of the Curry 6 is also for ‘The Town’.
Under Armour, Stephen Curry, Devlin Braswell, a sneaker customizer & entrepreneur in Oakland, California, who is the founder of his own sneaker establishment, Fly Boys Couture Club (FBCC). He designed the ucoming Holiday inspired colorway, or the UA Curry 6 ‘Christmas’.
Dee Nyce and his team began to brainstorm about the true symbols of Christmas, and the classic icon of snow came to mind. It doesn’t snow in the Bay Area, but Lake Tahoe is something that came to mind to see the flurries.
The scenery of Lake Tahoe is reflected upon these sneakers. The UA Curry 6 ‘Christmas’ comes dressed in a white upper, various hues of blue for the midsole and outsole, while snow blue accents take up the lockdown cables along the laces.
The UA Curry 6 ‘Christmas in the Town’ will release in limited quantities beginning December 22nd at the SC30 x Oakland pop-up shop in downtown Oakland, at 472 9th Street. Retail is set for $130, and the kicks will additionally release on December 26th at UnderArmour.com at 10 AM EST, and will be available on the UA App at 8 AM sharp.
