After a huge hiatus from basketball, Converse is making a comeback in On-Court performance models. The Converse All Star Pro BB is going to be the first model the brand is coming back with and these kicks have some pretty cool things going on. Let’s take a look to see what new things the All Star Pro BB brings to the table.
To start things off the silhouette draws inspiration from Converse’s old basketball heritage, think of this model as a good mix of old and new. The upper is Quadfit mesh, which Nike states is similar to a modern canvas and is supposed to provide superior lockdown by eliminating friction.
The cushioning setup is a drop-in React foam core that is lightweight and responsive. This drop-in setup really puts your foot in contact with the React foam. The outsole tread pattern is a diamond like pattern that should cover all your hard cuts and stops. The All Star Pro BB is set to release in May 2019 for $140. While we wait for an exact release date to be confirmed, keep it locked here for updates, and grab a peek at the upcoming shoes down below.
