Kevin Garnett, a future Hall of Famer who spent most of his career with the Minnesota Timberwolves, and Boston Celtics, is now back with AND1 as their main brand ambassador. He started off wearing just Nike’s and Jordan’s in his early career, such as the Air Flightposite KG, and the Air Garnett. Later into 2002, he made the big move to go over to AND1 and started up his own exclusive signature line. In 2004, he signed with adidas, making this the third brand he’d sign with since he was drafted.
With adidas he’d rock his own Garnett signature shoes, along with some other team models, such as the KG Bounce. In 2011, he signed with Anta, and once again started up his own signature line, starting off with the ANTA KG 1. And now, just this past February, KG has committed to be the main brand ambassador for AND1. He’s been with Nike, adidas, AND1, and Anta, and yeah, that’s a load of kicks to be rocking for a 21 year career.
Slam Kicks has said, “KG has been working with the brand on a variety of soon-to-be released on-court and lifestyle silhouettes.” This should be very good news, considering KG is also the Creative Director of the brand, giving him all of the creative freedom in the world to make some different kicks. It doesn’t seem like any new kicks have dropped since KG re-signed with AND1, but we’ll keep you covered on any new lines that might drop.
As for now, expect the Attack 2 & Tai Chi to drop this September. Down below we have a preview of what AND1 might be bringing us this Fall. Whether or not they are the Attack 2 or Tai Chi, they could be promising for on-court performance. That’s it for now. Stay tuned to One on One Testers & The Sneaker Bulletin for more on AND1 & all your sneaker news.
