After first reporting Damian Lillard’s sixth signature shoe months prior, we now give you a First Look at his adidas Dame 6 on the shelves of adidas Stockists in China.
While the adidas Dame 5 has been sitting atop our rotation for quite possibly the best performing basketball shoe of 2019, we’re hoping the next model in Dame Dolla’s signature line with adidas has what it takes to top it off. Pairs have already been made available on shelves over in China, so it’s pure speculation on when we’re going to see these to release stateside.
Leaked in multiple colorways, the adidas Dame 6 looks to arrive equipped with a multi-directional herringbone outsole, similar to its predecessor, full-length, unadulterated Lightstrike midsole, while a primary build of mesh makes up the upper, with synthetic panels overlaying the eye stay/mudguard areas for durability.
The whole aesthetic to this shoe is definitely unique, and some will definitely have mixed opinions with these. Luckily, colorways can vastly improve a shoe’s looks, as it did with Dame’s fifth signature, which I now find to be the best looking shoe on the market. Performance wise, these should be great. adidas Hoops seems to be pushing their new Lightstrike cushioning technology into their high-end signature models, so it should be interesting to see how it does in these models, besides the N3XT L3V3L’s.
Keep it locked here for updates on Damian Lillard’s sixth signature shoe as we await its release date confirmation, and leave your thoughts in the comments below on his next shoe with the Three Stripes.
