Derrick Rose, a former NBA Rookie of the Year, MVP, three time All Star, and Chicago legend—has a new budget signature shoe set to debut—the adidas Rose 773.
The adidas D Rose 773 line was originally the more affordable, budget line of Rose’s signature series with adidas Hoops. Ultimately, the line-up of footwear ended up getting discontinued quite a while ago. But now, adidas and Derrick Rose have rejuvenated the line with the upcoming release of the Rose 773.
The adidas Rose 773 will be the first sneaker of a newly launched Rose line-up, that was previously terminated, likely due to a lack of sales and popularity. The Rose 773 appears to arrive featuring a very similar tooling to one of its budget counterparts, the Pro Vision. A widely spaced multi-directional herringbone traction pattern makes up the outsole, whereas full length Bounce foam remains as the cushioning. The build also appears very similar to previous D Rose 773 models. The upper is completed with a textile mesh build, while a standard lacing enclosure, detachable tongue, and a Geo-fit inspired ankle collar for mobility and support completes the shoe.
Let us know what you think of the upcoming adidas Rose 773 in the comments below. For those wondering, 773 is an area code in Chicago, thus the number pays homage to Rose’s hometown. Keep it locked here as we further update this article with potential release details in the near future.
