The return of the T-Mac signature line certainly was an odd one for adidas Hoops. Bringing Boost and modernizing the silhouette of Tracy McGrady’s signature line definitely had to have been challenging for the Three Stripes, but they executed the challenge and brought on a great performer. Now it’s time to move on, and talk about the succeeding model, the adidas T-Mac Millenium 2.
Sporting more premium materials and a simpler silhouette, lets see what the second iteration of the T-Mac Millenium line has to offer. While the image below is very poor potato quality, it still gives us a good look at what the shoes might be offering.
From a first glance, full length Boost appears to be in full swing here, as it makes up the whole entire platform of the midsole, with a lateral outrigger that was in place with its predecessor model. A textile mesh looks like it could be the upper, while a synthetic makes up the rear quarter panel, with a full heel cage wrapping up to the midfoot for support and containment. Finishing it off is a lace enclosure similar to the Harden Vol. 3.
Currently, a release date has yet to surface for these, but check back for the earliest updates. Let us know your thoughts on these in the comments below.
