Thanks to One on One Testers Discord member, The Prince of Zamunda for the heads up, we’re giving you your first look at the Nike Air Force Max 2.
The original Nike Air Force Max retailed for $160, but immediately hit major discounts due to its outdated cushioning technology, and practically nobody purchasing the shoes. Let’s hope the successor model to the Nike Air Force Max has improved.
The Nike Air Force Max 2 arrives equipped with a multi-directional line outsole, featuring a pivot point. The shoe rides atop a thin foam midsole, while the majority of the cushioning comes from the full-length Nike Air Max bag. Completing the shoe is a mesh upper with polyurethane overlays, a midfoot strap, and midfoot reinforcement with the plastic overlaying. The shoe’s upper overall is very reminiscent of the Nike Kobe 3 with its tile posite upper, so it will be interesting to see how these perform once they release.
The Nike Air Force Max 2 is now available overseas, retailing for roughly $155 USD. It’s likely once these release stateside, they’ll round out at about $160, the same as its predecessor. Let us know what you think of the Air Force Max 2, and keep it locked here as updates arrive regarding its stateside release.
