Golden State Warriors Center, DeMarcus Cousins, took the all-new PUMA Uproar basketball shoes to the hardwood this past Saturday, in his match-up Saturday, v.s. the Los Angeles Lakers.
While we first reported on the PUMA Uproar this past weekend, PUMA has officially unveiled their second performance basketball shoe for the first time in over two decades. This will be just the second shoe in their performance basketball line-up for 2019.
Now, we present you with a First Look at the PUMA Uproar ‘All Star’, for NBA All Star Weekend of course. The sneakers arrive in a very unique make-up, sporting an orange to white graidnent midsole laterally, while a purple to white gradient makes up the medial foam.
Unlike the Black/White colorway that surfaced on Boogie Cousins’ feet, the ‘All Star’ colorway of the Uproar features a simple foam backed mesh upper dressed in a tonal black/blue gradient, while synthetics wrap around the midfoot, and mud-guard for added security. An exaggerated TPU heel clip wraps from the midfoot to the heel both medially and laterally. Pull tabs are evident at the tongue, and heel, while NRGY beaded foam makes up the heel, and Ignite foam completes the midfoot to forefoot for adequate impact protection.
All in all, the shoes look like they could be pretty solid performers, but the $130 price point is what keeps some skeptical, considering the quality of material we’ll receive depending upon colorways that release. You can expect the PUMA Uproar to hit PUMA.com and select stockists Saturday, February 16th, 2019, for $130. Grab an official First Look at the PUMA Uproar ‘All Star’ below and be sure to drop your thoughts in the comments on PUMA’s newest performance basketball silhouette.
