With the NBA season underway, we are getting awesome PEs and first looks at upcoming performance models. This is not the case for the Under Armour Curry 6, since Stephen Curry has been playing in the 5s thus far. The Curry 6 is due to release soon, so this leak seems very credible.
To start things off, the Curry 6 will utilize a new lacing system that has never been featured on any of Curry’s’ signature models. The lacing system is very similar to that of hiking shoes, a design cue that the new Nike Kobe A.D. Exodus has also taken. The second new feature that is rumored to be featured on the Curry 6 is a new cushioning system, UA HOVR™ ; a cushioning that is said to bring the ultimate energy return and impact protection to athletes on the hardwood.
Full details on the Stephen Curry’s sixth signature performance silhouette with the Baltimore-based sportswear brand is slated to surface sometime in the month of November. It’s almost inevitable Under Armour & The Splash Brother will be debuting these on the hardwood soon, so stay in the loop at The Sneaker Bulletin as more information comes along.
