After many leaks, surfaced images, and a ton of new performance footwear models surfacing, we may have our First Look, at a shoe that hasn’t released a new silhouette in quite some time. The Nike HyperRev. We haven’t seen the HyperRev release since the 2017 model, which has been nearly two years ago. That’s a pretty long time, especially for a line that has been pretty successful and liked by Nike customers.
Just to break it to everyone, no, these are not confirmed to be the newest silhouette of the Nike HyperRev line. Actually, Nike stopped calling the line ‘HyperRev’. Instead it’s now called the ‘Zoom Rev’. Not only do these kicks look like a newer generation HyperRev, they have an appearance as a running shoe as well. Tech specification wise, they have what seems to be a knitted upper; potentially Flyknit, a pretty standard looking midsole, with no visible traction wrapping up, which can be worrisome coverage wise when you’re on the court.
That takes care of it. Is this a First Look at the newest HyperRev? We don’t know. Others speculate it to be the newest edition of the HyperRev, so hopefully it is. Whatever it is, we got you covered at One on One Testers & The Sneaker Bulletin for all that information coming in the future.
