While Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, and the defending NBA champions in the Golden State Warriors look to demolish the Los Angeles Clippers in a Game Five Series tonight, Wednesday, April 24th, the Chef himself has debuted an unseen UA basketball shoe to the practice court. Could this be our First Look at the Under Armour Curry 7?
Following up with the brief stints of the Curry 5 and 6, the Baltimore born athletic footwear/apparel brand looks to release shoes more invigorating for the three time champ, and two-time MVP, one of those being unanimous. Stephen Curry has took to the court, a totally new blacked out silhouette of an unseen Under Armour shoe, which we speculate to be him wear-testing the Under Armour Curry 7, ushering in one of his many signature models Curry has had, including his budget 3ZER0 line-up.
Per the Golden State Warriors social media pages, we present you with your First Look at what could be Stephen Curry’s seventh signature shoe in four years with Under Armour. Unfortunately, this image is about as potato quality as these leaks nowadays get. Not much of the shoe’s tech or actual aesthetic can be seen. However, what can be seen is a similar sole silhouette to its predecessor model, and a mid-top construction, with fuse overlays at the mudguard areas. Chef Curry is likely wear testing these before UA actually puts these into production, so this is very likely our first glimpse at his seventh signature shoe, which concludes the reasoning as to the blacked out upper, mineralizing the revealing of the shoe.
Die-hard Dubs fans will have to wait for this shoe to release, at least until the beginning of the Summer, as new Curry’s are releasing twice per year. But while you wait, there’s plenty of great playoff basketball to be watched (Dame’s series winner last night). Don’t expect a broad release anytime soon, but keep it locked here for updates as more leaks surface, and Curry potentially debuts his Under Armour Curry 7 on the playoff hardwood soon.
