The Jordan 11 has always been a staple holiday sneaker release for Jordan Brand since it first began retroing in the early 00’s. Throughout these years we have been blessed with OG colorways like the Breds, Concords, and Cool Grey’s as well as exciting new colorways such as the Gammas, Pantones’, and Win Like 96’s which introduced colors to the Jordan 11 not previously seen. The growing popularity of the Jordan 11, possibly one of Jordans most Iconic and loved silhouette’s, has led Jordan Brand to extend the usual holiday release from just one iteration of the Jordan 11 to multiples, including low top versions and a women’s “Heiress” line.
This year is no different as Jordan Brand again prepares multiple Jordan 11 releases for the upcoming holiday season. We already have news and release info for the brands updated version of the Jordan 11 Concords releasing Christmas time, as well as images of the Jordan 11 Heiress for this year in an olive colorway, and now news of what will be a brand new colorway of the Jordan 11 releasing named the “Platinum Tint”. This new color scheme from Jordan almost resembles the infrared color scheme found on some other Jordan numbered models.
The sneaker ditches the normal patent leather found on the mudflap of most Jordan 11 models for a more dull fabric. The upper is predominantly platinum tint, with white laces and a midsole. The sneaker also features a translucent white sole with red accents and Jumpman Logos and lettering. Set to release on October 27th for $220. Are these the must have Jordan release of the season?
