After multiple leaks of the King’s seventeenth signature shoe, LeBron James has taken to Instagram our first official look at the Nike LeBron 17 ‘2K’.
Initial speculation regarding the heel cushioning is still in speculation, but it seems more definite now that we very well could be receiving Air Max 270 for the heel’s primary source of cushioning. Two forefoot Zoom Pods complete the midsole, while Knitposite makes up the upper.
This colorway is a special edition ‘2K’ edition, paying homage to the video game. The 2K logo is placed at the bottom of the tongue, while the shoe arrives dressed in “Royal Purple”. A jeweled LeBron King logo is also at the top of the tongue.
