After getting hit with a bunch of fire Kyrie 5 colorways and Kyrie 5 PEs; we’re getting an official first look at the Nike Kyrie Flytrap 2 , Kyrie Irving’s second shoe in his budget line. This second model definitely seems to have improves upon the first Flytrap, which seems likely this time around. These new pictures of the initial colorway give us a good view of the traction and Zoom pod that is being used in the forefoot. So let’s take a quick look at the newest Kyrie budget model.
The upper isn’t anything special, a white mesh with a black embroidered Kyrie logo just behind the toe, a cool aesthetic feature for the Flytrap 2. The swoosh is black outlined in a gold that is also featured on the tongue and heel cup. The midsole is phylon (aka cement) with a small forefoot Zoom unit to give you a lil something’ in the forefoot. The traction pattern is ol’ reliable herringbone with a different pattern in the forefoot similar to the Kyrie 2.
The Nike Kyrie Flytrap 2, doesn’t have a specific release date, but expect them to release soon. In the meantime, you guys think these look solid? You can grab them now from ID4 Shoes on eBay, but an official stateside release is unknown at the moment.
