As 2018 comes to a close, we are gathering our list of the Top Basketball Shoes of the Year. Before the year actually finishes on December 31st, the Nike Kyrie 5 has launched, the Jordan “WHY NOT?” ZER0.1 released December 26th, and the Nike Zoom Evidence 3 will potentially release before the ending of the year.
The budget-friendly performance sneaker, the Nike Zoom Evidence II brought an average bang for your buck basketball model to the market. Featuring a lackluster of innovative technology, the Zoom Evidence line has been a sneaker you could grab from stores such as Walmart, Dicks, and Kohl’s for under $90, and tear up on the blacktop for a full season without any worry.
The sneaker very clearly reclaims the same silhouette and tooling as its predecessor, but with different swoosh placement, and a slightly modified material build, and added flywire cables to the medial and lateral sides of the sneakers. As the sneaker recycles technology from the Zoom Evidence II, we can already see the same treaded outsole on the new model, and expect an injected phylon midsole, forefoot Zoom Air, a forefoot mesh, and woven heel panelling. Topping it off, is a speculated $90 retail price.
While an official release date hasn’t prospered alongside this leak, make sure to stick back to One on One Testers as more information comes along. Did you wear test the Zoom Evidence II? Are there better models available for more competetive prices? Sound off in the comment section below, and share your thoughts on The Sole Chat.
