The National Basketball Association. 450 athletes. 15 man rosters. Only eight spots open for playoff contention. Did your favorite NBA Team have make the post season last year? If so, you’re in luck, as Nike and the NBA will be releasing the first launch of their newest ‘Earned’ Edition NBA Jerseys. Designed for the top sixteen teams in the league that were in playoff contention last year, here are your ‘Earned’ Edition uniforms.
The uniforms come inspired by paying homage to each playoff team’s franchise heritage, while boasting a similar look to their original ‘City’ Edition Jerseys. Not only is this a well job done by Nike, this introduces more market value for the Swoosh, and a higher profit margin for the brand. Good-looking uniforms for the consumer, and more profit for the Swoosh. Not bad Nike, not ad.
While some teams that were in playoff contention will debut their new uniforms Christmas Day, others will make their debut when they play after Christmas. You’ll be able to grab all sixteen jerseys exclusively on Nike.com, NBA.com, and select retail partners in limited quantities on December 19th.
