After a somewhat quiet release of the Crazy BYW LVL I back in January, adidas has released pictures of the upcoming Crazy BYW LVL II. There wasn’t much noise going around about the BYW LVL I on and off the court, so hopefully the LVL IIs may fix that. For those that don’t know, the adidas Crazy BYW LVL II is a performance basketball shoe.
BYW stands for ‘Boost You Wear’, a new basketball line adidas has to offer. The kicks feature a full-length ‘podular’ BOOST midsole, which brings in adidas’ new POD system integrated into the shoes. It decouples the BOOST foam for more provided stability/support. A TPU support clip also rises up on the lateral side is evident, as well as a new mesh upper. The BOOST is fully uncaged on the medial side of the shoes, and the sole of the shoes feature a modified herringbone pattern.
Well, that just about takes care of everything. You can grab the adidas BYW LVL II at select adidas retailers this Wednesday, August 1st for $140 in the ‘Core Black/Purple’ colorway. Who’s copping?
