One on One Testers first reported upon the adidas T-Mac Millenium back in August when we gave the net a First Look at Tracy McGrady’s new signature sneaker. Fast forward to the end of the year; December 2018, the kicks have finally released on adidas.com.
According to adidas, the official tech specifications of the sneakers include:
○ Regular fit
○ Lace closure
○ Synthetic upper with forefoot embroidery and TPU support
○ Textile lining; Herringbone-pattern rubber outsole
○ Responsive Boost midsole
○ Cushioned stable feel
All in all, T-Mac’s newest kicks come equipped with grippy multi-directional herringbone coverage, rides atop a full-length Boost midsole , a synthetic fused upper, with additional TPU reinforcement at the forefoot, and a standard set of laces for adequate lockdown. Something special the first official release colorway comes with is an gum outsole, which is usually the best to wean dust off the soles, and provide better overall grip on the court.
The adidas T-Mac Millenium has officially released on adidas.com in ‘Cloud White / Gold Metallic’ for $160 in a full mens size run. Materials could be improved, as well as the price point could be narrowed down, but this very well could wrap up the year as a top performer of 2018. Will you be copping the T-Mac Millenium? Are they worth $160? Let us know in the comments and we’ll keep you covered as more colorways are set to release in the coming weeks.
