Before James Harden and Damian Lillard became the soaring endorsers for adidas Hoops, there was an athlete named Tracy McGrady who repped the brand long before the two NBA stars. A seven time All Star and All-NBA Player used to have six signature sneakers with adidas, before eventually ending the signature line to nagging, career-ending injuries, and eventually, retirement. Lets introduce the adidas T-Mac Millenium.
One on One Testers first reported upon Tracy McGrady’s newest sneaker returning into the adidas Hoops performance line back in August. Inspired by some of the line’s best models; the T-Mac 1 & 2, the T-Mac Millenium boasts similar design cues from its predecessors. Donning a classic 90s and 00s look, the T-Mac Millenium rides atop a full length BOOST midsole, while a premium leather embellishes the heel, and a rubberized toe cap for a more adorning aesthetic. Coming dressed in white, gold, and gum flavors, the newest T-Mac’s sport a classic look, while catering to the modern performance needs of a basketball athlete.
A final release date is inevitable for these sneakers. Rumored to debut in the Spring of 2019, who is excited to potentially get their hands on a pair of the newest T-Mac’s in quite some time? Modern technology with a classic look is a must-have for the OG’s who keep up with us. Otherwise, expect the adidas T-Mac Millenium to release in the coming months in a variety of promising colorways.
