Jordan Brand has had a decently successful year thus far with the release of Russell Westbrook’s first signature shoe, the “Why Not?” ZER0.1, and also silently releasing the Ultra.Fly 3 & Super.Fly MVP. Another model that has silently released overseas, and may potentially be releasing over in the states, is the brand new Jumpman Hustle. What One on One Testers originally gave the net a First Look on, has officially released overseas in a ‘Black’ colorway.
The Jumpman Hustle is the newest performance basketball silhouette in Jordan Brand’s hoop line-up. Alongside the Ultra.Fly 3, Super.Fly MVP, and the “Why Not?” ZER0.1, Jordan Brand looks to kill it with this release. Tech specification wise, we don’t have much information available quite yet. To start from the bottom up, what appears to be a story-telling out sole is evident, along with an oddly sculpted midsole. No word on what the actual cushioning is in the sneakers, but the foam is mainly going to be a Phylon, which Nike/Jordan Brand tend to use in most of their models.
Upper wise, there’s a lot going on. Under all of the overlay, we have a mesh/neoprene upper, which is then covered by a zippered patent leather shroud. The shroud covers the whole upper of the shoes, even the laces. Lock down/support should be this shoes main key component. Another lock down feature we can see is the very aggressive looking outsole that wraps up in the heel, that looks to be similar to the adidas Harden Vol. 2.
That wraps it up for now, One on One Nation. As per the usual with most early leaks, and surfaced images, we have no release information or pricing available for a stateside release. What we do know is if you’re overseas and have a Gallery 2 Store, these should be available for yourself to grab now. Stay hooked to OneonOneTesters.com and The Sneaker Bulletin for more on the Jumpman Hustle, and all the other good ‘ol sneaker news.
