Kyrie Irving reigned over the year of 2018 by releasing his Nike Kyrie 5, Kyrie Flytrap, and plenty of popular collaborations with his personal life inspirations. The wait is over as Irving’s new shoes are out now. Heading into 2019, Uncle Drew doesn’t look to slow down as his second budget-friendly performance basketball shoe has globally released; the Nike Kyrie Flytrap 2.
Kyrie Irving’s second signature take-down model originally surfaced in November when we first reported upon them. The Nike Kyrie Flytrap 2 offers a budget-friendly price point, for a great on-court performance.
Similar to its predecessor, the shoes ride atop a curved modified herringbone sole for multi-directional coverage, and an injected phylon midsole with a forefoot zoom hex bag, targeted at the right side of your forefoot. Finishing off its performance features are a screen-printed mesh upper, traditional lacing system with a midfoot elastic bungee cord, and external TPU heel clip for standard lockdown and supportive features.
You can grab the Nike Kyrie Flytrap 2 for $80 at select retailers such as Dick’s Sporting Goods, Famous Footwear, and other budget-friendly establishments. While the Flytrap won’t quite release on Nike.com, they’re still available at popular and well-trusted retailers right now. Will you cop the Nike Kyrie Flytrap 2? Are they an upgrade in comparison to its predecessor? Be sure to share your thoughts with us in the comments, and grab a First Official Look at the kicks down below.
