The LeBron James signature line with the Swoosh has been nothing short of a success. While we have seen models featuring Air Max, Zoom Air, a blend of both cushions, or even drop-in midsoles, we’ve practically seen it all within the LeBron line. Now, we’re happy to first report that the Nike LeBron 7 ‘Red Carpet’ will be making a return this October, thanks to our staff member, The Prince of Zamunda.
An absolute staple in the entire LeBron signature series, the Nike LeBron 7 ‘Red Carpet’ will arrive to retailers this Fall in a “retro” treatment, since we last saw them on the King’s feet on the hardwood in 2009 at Madison Square Garden.
They will arrive dressed with a Baltic Blue outsole and full-length Air Max unit. Black rubber also makes up part of the outsole for the herringbone traction pattern. Completing the tooling is a white foam midsole, while the upper features a rear black ballistic nylon, synthetic eyestay overlays, and a white synthetic overlay that goes from the heel, and covers the toe of the shoes. Finishing touches include this legendary colorway are accents of bright blue at the Nike swoosh outline, sockliner, and lace lock. Finally, red accents complete the shoe for the LeBron signature at the tongue and at the toe of the outsole.
Let us know what you think of the Nike LeBron 7 making a return in the ‘Red Carpet colorway. Check out the release details below and keep it locked here for updates as more classics make their return from the King’s nostalgic signature line.
