Stephen Curry and his Golden State Warriors are heading back to the NBA Finals for the fourth consecutive year to take on another rematch in a seven game series with the Cavs. Since the NBA Finals are back on Thursday, Under Armour is releasing yet another championship pack. In honor of another Finals Run, Under Armour is introducing the Curry 5 ‘Take Over’ Pack. Yeah, lets get into this.
The Takeover Pack will feature two colorways of the Curry 5 that One on One Testers leaked sometime ago. The first colorway shown is dubbed the Takeover Edition 1, and the white colorway is the Takeover Edition 2. How original, am I right? The two colorways of the sneakers both have striking contrast from each other in color. Both colorways share a white midsole featuring different colored paint speckles. Takeover Edition 1 features a full knitted/ana-foam upper, while Takeover Edition 2 features a simple white look. Both pairs we know are for the NBA Finals with gold on the small Under Armour branding in the heel portion of the sneaker, as well as Takeover Edition 2 features some gold on the front of the midsole.
As per release information, this is called the Curry 5 ‘Take Over’ Pack, although it’s not really a pack in the first place. Takeover Edition 1 and Takeover Edition 2 will be sold separately from each other in limited amount at UnderArmour.com and select retailers on June 1st, just in time for when the NBA Finals begin tomorrow night. Each pair will be sold separately for $130. We hope you enjoyed the First Look at the newest Under Armour sneaker release.
