After the mixed reviews of the Curry 5, mostly from what I’ve heard (negative). But Under Armour is looking to leave that in the past with the official unveiling of Point Guard, Stephen Curry’s sixth signature shoe; the Under Armour Curry 6. Just by the looks of this shoe, it looks to be more refined and definitely has more detail than the simplistic approach taken with the Curry 5. Let’s take a dive into the upcoming Curry 6 to see what this shoe is all about.
To start things off, Under Armour is debuting HOVR cushioning to the Curry line, which provides explosive energy return and a low weight feel, an important feature for Guard shoes. UA is going with a split outsole design which features flex grooves in key areas so that they shoe as a whole can move with your foot and handle your cuts.
The Curry 6 uses Under Armour’s Speed Plate to keep you on your toes and help with the response of the shoe. Take it all in, that’s the upcoming UA Curry 6. Check out the release details down below, and be sure to share your thoughts on The Chef’s newest kicks down below.
